5. Don’t keep all of your site’s content in a database or in Active Server Pages.

Search engines may have trouble indexing dynamic web pages—such as those generated by Active Server Pages—or indexing information in databases. Database-driven web sites are often accessed by entering a query into a form; search engine spiders can’t do this. Providing the text content of your databases in static HTML pages that can be indexed by search engines can help improve your site’s ranking.
